Your Key to the Chesapeake Bay

We are a full-service marina with 217 slips and 70 dry slips. Located on the Perrin River, an inlet at the mouth of the York River, Perrindise Marina & Club offers fast, easy access to the Chesapeake Bay.

The marina is tucked away in a natural “hurricane hole,” offering protection from storms for our vessels. We offer many amenities, including a club pool, coin laundry and multiple bathhouses.

Nautical Rope

We offer a range of slip options, including transient, month-to-month, quarterly and seasonal options. Slip sizes vary with a maximum overall length of 60 feet and 6-foot draft, but the marina can also accommodate much smaller vessels.

One of the most important factors when considering a marina is slip options. Contact our team for rate information and let us find you a slip that’s right for your needs.

The joy of Perrindise Marina & Club is its location as it sits in the heart of the Chesapeake Bay, the largest estuary in the United States – the third largest in the world.

The Bay runs nearly 200 miles long, and including all its tributaries, is only an average of 21 feet deep. The watershed area of the Bay is

64, 000 square miles. Boating on the Bay is a popular pastime for locals and tourists alike with calm waters and breathtaking scenery.

Directions

By Sail or Prop

Located on the Perrin River, a protected harbor just past Jenkins Neck, Perrindise Marina & Club is still carried on some chart books as Cooks Landing Marina. The approach to the Perrin River is well marked and easy to follow. A flashing “PR” in the middle of the York River identifies the Perrin River on the north shore.  After passing this marker, be careful of the scattered fish traps and the submerged pilings. Go northwest to the nearby “2”, which marks the large sandbar off Jenkins Neck. Once clear of red “2”, you will quickly spot “4” and day beacon “6” in the entrance to the Perrin River to starboard. There is 7 to 10 feet of water in the channel, but it can shoal quickly to the sides, so stay within it. Marker “7” marks a sandbar to port.  After passing “8”, bear hard to starboard to “9” and stay in the middle of the channel. Once clear of these markers, you will see green day beacon “11” and the marina on your starboard. 30 NM North of Mile 1 in Norfolk, VA on the Perrin River.

By Wheel or Wing

The marina is twenty minutes from the Newport News Williamsburg International Airport (PHF), approximately 1.5 hours from the Norfolk Airport (ORF), approximately twenty minutes to the Williamsburg Jamestown Airport (JGG), and approximately 60 minutes to the Middle Peninsula Regional Airport (W97).
